Do I have to sign a contract?
No. We do not have binding contracts.
How long is each session?
Sessions are typically one hour but can be tailored to the student's needs by considering their age, schedule of extracurricular activities, etc.
Do you offer group sessions?
No. We offer one to one sessions for students to fully benefit from our services.
Can you communicate with my child's teacher?
Yes! We can communicate with a student's teacher to know exactly what concepts the student is experiencing difficulty with, and develop an effective plan of action.
What equipment/technology is needed for online sessions?
For the best experience possible, you should have the following:
- headphones or earbuds with a microphone
- computer with a web camera
- broadband internet connection
- a dedicated space to work with minimal or no background noise
What video conferencing software do you use?
We use ZOOM Video Conferencing. You do not have to download any software to join a Zoom meeting. A meeting link and passcode will be emailed 24 hours prior to a scheduled tutoring session.
What is your attendance policy?
Sessions may be scheduled as often as needed. No minimum number is required. All sessions are for the exact time scheduled. Students who arrive late will not be able to make up the missed time.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel a session, please do so at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session, and you may reschedule it at your earliest convenience. For missed sessions or late cancellations, the regular rate still applies.
How do I pay for tutoring sessions?
Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover). Credit card processing is done via Square.
An invoice will be sent via email 24 hours prior to a scheduled session, and payment is due before that lesson
