Susan was born and raised in Webster Groves, MO. She graduated from Mary Institute (now MICDS), earned her Bachelor's degree from Tulane University and her MBA from St. Louis University.
She spent the early part of her career in finance, first in commercial banking, then trading municipal bonds and later, creating solutions and structuring bonds mainly for colleges and universities.. Susan has participated in various sports throughout her life and as an adult she was able to return to her love of riding horses. To Susan, sports and the skills, lessons and strategies that she learned on the field, court and golf course have been valuable to navigating everyday life. Besides sports, Susan loves animals, in addition to her beloved family pets, she fosters dogs and cats and currently volunteers with a horse rescue. Animals have an innate ability to teach us very valuable lessons, too.
